Why Start Here
Three reasons to start here.
A complete tasting of our entire range — designed so you can find the matcha that fits your taste, mood, and lifestyle.
One decision. Three discoveries.
Aging transforms matcha. Eight months brings brightness. Twelve brings depth. Eighteen brings something close to ceremony. Tasting all three in sequence is the only way to truly feel the difference.
Your matcha preference, revealed.
Some people discover they want the comfort of Fuji no Asa every morning. Others find Sei Jaku becomes their ritual. A few never go back after tasting Den Sho. You won't know until you try.
Now is the right time to taste this matcha.
Our matcha is aged 8 to 18 months — and the batches available today have just reached their peak drinking window. Time has softened the sharpness and brought forward the deep umami that defines true Shizuoka matcha. This is matcha at its best moment.

Your Journey
Your three-week journey.

Start bright.
Begin with Fuji no Asa. Try it as an iced matcha or in your morning latte. Notice how clean and refreshing it tastes — this is what daily matcha should feel like.

Go deeper.
Move to Sei Jaku. Prepare it simply — warm water, bamboo whisk, a quiet moment. Notice the nutty depth and the finish that lingers. Something has shifted.

Experience the finest.
Finish with Den Sho. Sip slowly. There is no bitterness here — only sweetness, depth, and a warmth that stays long after the cup is empty. This is matcha as it has been crafted for generations.

The Heritage
80 years. One family. One region.
Since the 1940s, the Asahi family has cultivated and blended matcha in Shimada — a city at the foot of Mt. Fuji where four generations of dedication have produced something you can taste in every cup.

vs. Coffee
Replacing your morning coffee with matcha doesn't mean giving something up — it means upgrading what energy feels like. No crash. No jitters. Just clear, sustained focus, backed by 80 years of Japanese mastery.
Matcha combines caffeine with L-theanine — an amino acid found almost exclusively in shade-grown tea. Together they produce calm, sustained alertness without the adrenaline spike.
L-theanine promotes alpha brain wave activity — the same relaxed-but-focused state experienced in meditation. Your mind stays sharp. Your body stays still. No jitters, no anxiety.
Rich in EGCG catechins — the most potent antioxidant in green tea. One bowl of matcha contains the equivalent of 10 cups of brewed green tea in antioxidant value.
Coffee delivers caffeine alone — a rapid, sharp spike in alertness followed by an equally sharp drop. The well-known "coffee crash" typically hits 2–3 hours after your cup.
A standard cup contains 80–100mg of caffeine with no L-theanine to buffer it. For many people this means jitters, anxiety, and heart palpitations — particularly on an empty stomach.
Coffee has significant acidic and addictive properties. Regular consumption can contribute to dependence, disrupted sleep, and reduced morning cortisol response over time.
